Amazing Inaugural New Westminster Pride Festival 2010

#tbt to the first ever New Westminster Pride Festival in 2010. We were operating as bOB HOmer photography (aka bHp) and this was one of our first major events (aside from all the Sutton Realty galas!). We were working out of our South Granville studio and received a call for a photographer for the inaugural Pride Festival, headed up by Chris Queer and the Royal City Pride Society (now New West Pride). Jen’s been a vocal proponent of LGBTQ+ rights her whole life, thanks to growing up with her amazing Uncles as father-figures, so we were delighted to throw our support behind this event and donate our time.

It was a fun-filled, family-friendly event. Right on the waterfront boardwalk in New Westminster, Canada’s Royal City, a stage hosted musical performances while performers (and bystanders) danced around us. bOB took some stunning pictures of the day and we’re happy to have had the honour of participating.
