When do travel fees apply?

Your service quote will show travel fees, if applicable. A nominal travel fee applies to Richmond, White Rock, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and beyond.

Travel costs to Victoria will include ferry ride. Please inquire within for more information.

Do your prices include tax?

No, all our work is subject to GST. Tangible deliverables (e.g., if we print your feature sheets for you) are also subject to PST.

Do you have a cancellation fee?
Yes, all shoots cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $25 fee. On-site cancellations are subject to a fee that is 50% of the total service ordered. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Do you offer package discounts?

Yes, we save you time and money! We offer packages that save you up to 33% on real estate services.

We also keep our costs lower than many other agencies because we are a boutique architectural photography agency and we do not have a large overhead.

We also do not farm out work to other agencies. Several of our competitors farm out services to other contractors, which increases their operating budget, and the cost is transferred to you!

Matterport-Specific Questions

How long do you host the 3D tours for?
Hosting for each 3D tour is for 3 months. Extended hosting is $97 annually.
Do you rebrand existing 3D tours?

Yes, the cost is $129.

How do you measure a property?

We use a Matterport Pro2 3D camera with infrared-precision measuring for all our floor plans. Our measurements include walls, hallways, and stairwells. Dimensions for these items may not be shown on the floor plan but are still calculated in the total square footage.

Our measurements are exact and covered under $3,000,000 E & O insurance. Schematic Floor Plans are accurate to 1 to 2% of reality.

Who owns our photos/scans?

Depending on your service, the owner of the final product is usually going to be Capturing Spaces. However, Matterport retains ownership of copies of the raw sensor data of your 3D scans. Our equipment
When anyone can take a photo on their phone or whip up an image using an app, it's good to know that your work is in the hands of professionals who use all professional photography gear, broadcast quality video and audio equipment, professional editing software, and the full Adobe Creative suite. We use top-of-the-line cameras and we have a Matterport Pro2 3D camera for scanning. 

We can shoot in the rain, in the cold, in the dark or low-light, outside - you name it. We have the gear it takes to get the job done right the first time. 

For more vintage and retro-looking shoots, we have a variety of film cameras and also shoot in black and white. We even have a medium format camera for more artistic shoots. 

Being able to use so many different types of cameras, including shooting and developing film shot on medium format, means that bOB truly knows his stuff! Why trust your photography to anyone else?
